Financial documents obtained by Background Briefing suggest the WA government was advised it owed tens of millions of dollars to Aboriginal workers in wages which it kept and never paid out. At one workplace alone the documents estimate the value of Aboriginal wages kept by government at $63 million. WA is now facing a potential class action after decades of stolen Aboriginal wages, child labour, and slavery.
