Think you and your job can’t be replaced by a thinking machine?
Think again, says Thomas Reeves, a retired University of Georgia professor whose career was spent studying how people learn — and more recently, how machines learn.
And that doesn’t include just jobs in factories, where many jobs are already replaced by advanced assembly machines.
Think pharmacists, journalists, physicians, accountants, architects and college professors, said Reeves as he delivered the 2016 Founder’s Day lecture in the UGA Chapel Wednesday.
