This annual water science competition showcases the unlimited potential of today’s high school students as they create solutions for current and future water challenges.

The Australian Stockholm Junior Water Prize is an annual water science competition, run by the Australian Water Association (AWA).

The national winner will have opportunity to compete internationally for the Stockholm Junior Water Prize in Stockholm during World Water Week in August. This includes participating in a week-long cultural exchange program with national winners from over 30 countries!

Competition details
The prize is open to young people who have conducted water-related projects focusing on local, regional, national or global topics of environmental, scientific, social or technological importance.

Entrants must be:

  • between the ages of 15 and 20
  • individuals or in groups of up to 3 students.

Entries close in November 2016.
